We offer wild crafted dried golden Sea Moss, which is a species of seaweed harvested from the Eastern Caribbean island of St. Lucia. This Sea Moss does not have a strong taste, has a slight sea odor, and contains the minerals and nutrients needed for our electrical bodies.
Since this particular sea moss has been completely dried, a smaller amount goes a long way, as noted in the package adjustment.
Preparation: Soak 1 oz. up to 2 hours in spring water. Rinse well. Blend sea moss with 2-1/2 to 3 cups spring water to make up to 32 oz. of gel. Refrigerate in a glass container and the gel will thicken based upon the amount of water added when preparing the gel. Refrigerate gel to store.
When made as a gel, it can be used as an Alkaline Electric or vegan thickener and emulsifier. It’s a great addition to smoothies, soups and other recipes found on our website. Additionally can be used as a gelling agent for raw food desserts, ice creams and more!
